husband and
I had a
kitchen
floor that
looked like
the
mountains of
West
Virginia.
Every year,
it got worse
and worse
until we
finally
scraped up
the money to
get the
underfloor
fixed and
then
laminated.
We had a man
do the job
that was
less than
satisfactory.
He took
about 6
weeks for
the entire
project. He
would show
up at 2:00
or 3:00 in
the
afternoon
and then
leave by
5:00. My
refrigerator
was in the
dining room
along with
my stove and
we had boxes
everywhere.
The torture
of this man
not getting
the work
done was
killing me!!
When we
found out
that we were
getting a
"nice"
return on
our income
taxes, we
decided to
get the
dining room
and living
room done
with the
same
laminate
that was in
the kitchen.
Someone had
brought it
to my
attention
that Jeremy
Overturf did
this kind of
work, so I
contacted
him and he
was over to
our house
the next
day. Jeremy
gave me an
estimate and
said he
could start
the job
within 3
days, and,
it would
take
approximately
2-3 days to
complete.
Needless-to-say,
Jeremy got
the job and
started two
days later.
He was
always on
the job by 8
or 8:30,
took an hour
for lunch,
and then
worked until
5, 6, or
7:00. Jeremy
is a
perfectionist
(I learned)
and he did a
super job of
"tieing-in"
the new
floor with
the kitchen
floor, which
wasn't the
easiest
thing to do.
It took him
three days
because we
had a spot
in the
corner of
the living
room
subfloor
that needed
replaced.
Jeremy
always
cleaned up
the mess
before he
left for the
day, and was
so very
pleasant to
be around
while he
worked.
We are so
proud of our
new
laminated
floors.
Everyone
that comes
over to the
house
absolutely
falls in
love with
the floors.
I always
give them
one of
Jeremy's
business
cards and
tell them
that "He is
the best!"
